What it is
Monitoring is only useful if you find out. An alerting system that shouts about everything gets muted within a week, and then it may as well not exist. This one is built around a severity floor and digests, so the signal survives.
How it works
- Email (SMTP) — works with any provider, no third party in the path.
- Slack — via an incoming webhook or a bot token.
- Signed generic webhook — HMAC-signed payloads so your receiving endpoint can verify they genuinely came from your instance.
- Severity floor — set the minimum level worth waking someone for, so informational findings stay in the dashboard.
- Digest mode — batch a noisy period into one scheduled summary instead of forty messages.
Alerts are always stored, delivery is best-effort. A failing SMTP server must never break the crawl or the audit that produced the alert. Delivery is separated from detection precisely so a notification problem cannot become a monitoring outage.
What it does for your site
It means problems are found by the system rather than by a customer. A critical audit issue, a Core Web Vitals regression or a detected SERP shift reaches the right person without anyone logging in to look for it. And because the severity floor is configurable, the channel stays trusted — which is the only property that makes an alert worth sending.
Where the results go
Alerts fire from audit, Core Web Vitals and SERP flux, and report agent outcomes from self-healing agents.
