Web graph and authority metrics

PageRank, TrustRank, SpamRank and HITS computed on the link graph you discover yourself, so authority is yours rather than a third-party number you rent.

What it is

Authority is normally rented. You buy a third-party Domain Authority or Trust Flow number, and you have no idea how it was calculated or whether it still means anything this year. This computes authority from the link graph the platform discovers itself.

How it works

All algorithms are dependency-free and numpy-only, so they run on the same small server as everything else:

AlgorithmWhat it tells you
PageRankLink equity with damping, handling dangling nodes, personalisation and weighted edges so link value can factor in relevance and anchor quality.
TrustRankTrust propagated forward from curated trustworthy roots. Spammy neighbourhoods score low.
SpamRankReverse propagation from known-bad seeds, so a link from a bad neighbourhood is penalised.
HITSHubs and authorities, for finding the pages that act as link hubs.

Weighted edges are the interesting part. A plain PageRank treats every link as equal. Weighting by relevance, anchor quality and topical proximity is what makes the output useful rather than a novelty.

What it does for your site

Internal link equity is the most under-used lever in SEO, because it is free and nobody can see it. This shows which of your pages are starved, which are over-linked, and where a single new internal link would pass the most value. It also gives you a defensible authority number that is yours, computed from your own data, with no vendor in the loop.

Where the results go

Authority scores are an input to forecasting and the SERP simulator, and the graph underpins topical maps.
